The Summer Camps at the NEW Media Department at CSMA were filled with lots of dynamic students who produced an exciting body of creative work. Each week long camp focused on Digital Photography and students were presented with various projects and assignments. The first goal was to build a portfolio of images, some of which would be later edited in Adobe Photoshop. We are very excited to present some of the results here. We wish we had more space to post as much of this incredible output as possible but we also have some editing to do.
Above, a set of various compositions on natural subjects. Below you will find another set of images that were edited using some of the various filters available in Adobe Photoshop.

Our final set of images was created using a mirroring technique in Adobe Photoshop. Enjoy, and stay tuned for upcoming images, movies, and music!

One of the assignments had the students creating a set of images to match the mood, atmosphere or rhythm of a song, selected from a group of 20 random musical selections provided by the instructor.

It's been a hectic summer here at CSMA. So hectic, in fact, we haven't had time to update the blog in quite some time! There have been summer camps, field trips, hopeful American Idols training, and lots more. Our fall-semester resolution is to keep this blog updated more thoroughly with lots of new content, and a new design as well. Stay tuned, there are exciting things on the horizon!
