Deric Carner

Deric Carner is a ceaseless nomad and an obsessive pirate of all signs and symbols. He is frequent self-publisher and has been published in several recent editions by Revolver Books, Frankfurt. A graduate of the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, NL; awarded an MA from Plymouth University, UK (2005); BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz (1998). Recent projects include performances at Witte de With, Rotterdam; CAC, Vilnius, Lithuania; Kunstlerverein Malkasten Jacobihaus, Deusseldorf; TENT Centrum Beeldende Kunst, Rotterdam; drawings at Pond, San Francisco; The Contemporary Art Center, North Adams, MA; and Brooklyn Fireproof Gallery, NYC. He was included in Kiosk, traveling archive of independent publications: Witte de With, ICA London, Istanbul Biennial; and BMW, IX Baltic Triennial of International Art: CAC, Vilnius and ICA London.
